Iori walked along a small pathway. He thought to himself, "I really wish these nightmares would stop...."

Beta reached his massive gloved hand out his fist clenching on the steel handle. Foot steps stopped him cold and turning around to see what it was found the hallway empty. "Would you mind checking that out?" Beta asked Emiko his body ready for a fight. "If its trouble come back."

Emiko nodded and went to find the source of the foot steps. She walked closer to the source but she didn't see anyone. She looked around then she saw a boy. She lookedat him trying to see if he was trouble or not. Was he? "Who are you?" Emiko asked.

Iori, not really hearing Emiko, kept walking. Suddenly, a book caught his eye and he knelt down to pick it up. After he picked up said book, he began to read it while walking.

Emiko roaned and went to him poking him to get his attention. She was still on her guard for if he attacked and she was ready to head back to Beta if need be. But this boy didn't seem like athreat to her anyway. But what could a person tell by just looking at a person?

Iori looked up from his book and at Emiko when she had poked him. He asked, "Yes?" His icy blue eyes were bloodshot from sleep deprivation, and he had large, dark bags underneath his eyes as well.

"I asked who are you?" Emiko said friendly. She would start friendly, if he attack he was morethen likly a splicer and then it would be time to go to Beta. But she was acting casual to him cause what if her was human like her, fending to keep his life to?

Iori said calmly, "My name is Iori Kusanagi. Sorry for not hearing you, I really haven't slept well in the past few days, and it has pretty much effected everything from my hearing to my sight." He closed the book he was reading and put it in his pants pocket.

"I'm Emiko Victoria, pleasure to meet you, its fine" Emiko said, she looked at him with her turquise blue eyes. "Do you want to head with me back to Beta?" She asked him curious if he wanted to of not.

Iori shrugged and said, "Sure, I've got nothing better to do anyways, so I might as well cone with you."

"OK" Emiko said smiling she lead him back to Beta. "It was nothing to worry about Beta we're good" Emiko said smiling to Beta. She looked to iori, "This is Iori, iori this is BEta" Emiko said she smiled waiting to see what they say about eachother. She hoped beta would let iori tag along. Partly beacuse she kindof already said he could.

Beta watched as Emiko returned with the male. Beta not wanting to waste more time pulled open the doors to the bathysphere. Pulling himself inside to sit on the leather seat covering the wall of the inside. "We had better get moving, come on."

Emiko nodded and climbed in and she helped iori. She took a seat and sat down. she brushed a huge strand of her light brown hair out of her face. She looked to Beta, "I'm ready." She said. She was ready.

Beta reached across and shut the door pushing on of the buttons inside. As the bathysphere dropped water bubbled up over the glass on the front. The ocean suddenly appeared through the glass as they sunk deeper. Every color and shape imaginable appeared before them in the ocean surrounding them. Beta watched remembering the last time he had walked out in the water.
